Wednesday 28 April is World Day for Safety and Health at Work and Workers’ Memorial Day. The day provides an opportunity to reflect on preventing work-related occupational diseases, deaths, injuries, and illnesses. It is also a day to remember those that have died from a work-related injury or disease.
Mine Tech Australia is committed to lowering the risks associated with being in the mining and construction workplace. Our commitment includes Secondary Guarding for Elevated Work Platforms, Fire Suppression Systems, effective and customisable proximity control systems, and ensuring safe levels of breathing air quality through the detection of diesel nanoparticles.
By raising awareness of work health and safety (WHS) issues and taking action to eliminate or minimise health and safety risks at work, together, we can help prevent further work-related fatalities and injuries.
We are actively participating in securing a safe and healthy working environment through our system of beliefs, infrastructure and technology to ensure the safety of all workers no matter their industry. Our highest priority is preventing accidents before they occur to ensure workers can safely go home to their families at the end of the day.
